There is a very important competence about self-learning, autonomy and personal responsibility that it has to be considered everywhere, at school, in class and at home.
I have chosen 10 sentences to talk about, checking understanding and discuss. In groups they have talked about priorities, differences and similarities. Finally, they have decided the 4th most appropriate for them and copy in the notebook.
Learning to learn
1. Start! Study without hesitation or delay.
2. It is much more efficient to study for short periods of time that to accumulate a lot of work.
3. A well-ordered desk is the first step to having well-ordered ideas.
4. Always use a pencil and paper when study.
5. If you write neatly, you won’t have to copy up your notes.
6. A good presentation influences the way a teacher marks your work.
7. The dictionary is an essential tool for improving your spelling and for developing vocabulary.
8. You always have to know what you have to do and do it.
9. A few minutes devoted to reading every day will accumulate many hours by the end of the year.
10. What is important is not to be the best but to do your best.
